When I retired I decided that I wanted to become a healthier and fitter person. The prospect was daunting after years of neglect - but I took the first step and joined the gym. Not being sure how to set about getting the results I wanted I took the second step and contacted Mark at Mk1PT. He bravely agreed to take on the challenge!
Having completed my initial assessment Mark devised a healthy eating plan and a programme of appropriate exercises. I visited the gym twice a week and had regular re-assessments with Mark along the way.
After just a short while I found that I was losing weight and feeling much fitter. Mark supported and encouraged me throughout the period of 6 months and has always been the first to praise me. I have now lost 2stones and 3lbs and feel so much fitter and have so much more energy. My cholesterol and blood pressure have both fallen too!
My advice to anyone thinking of a personal trainer is to contact Mark. He has become a friend and an ally, and really can help you accomplish all you want to achieve.
